Brimfield, ma got about 4 inches and then at 530 this morning it was 60/40 rain and big bomber attackflakes...absolute mess to clean the car off...got on the pike in Sturbridge to head east...about 2miles east of the I-84 junction and all the way east to the first Worcester exit it was all snow...heavy heavy and huge flakes, speed was about 45mph but traffice was moving along fine...elevation played a huge part in this...but then dropping down past Worcester I quickly drove into the coastal front and between my house and worcester the temp shot up 11 degrees...i'm sitting at 43 right now and it's absolutely pouring buckets...no evidence that i'm going back to snow anytime soon...lol...

It's very dense I stepped out to measure and could almost walk on top of it.

Did my best to measure across a wide span of field and protected areas. Based on those, I'm calling 8.5" on the ground. But, I really don't know what it actually would be on 3 hour increments and if there wasn't blowing.

Back to heavy snow and big flakes now. I'll use thie 8.5" as my starting point and what i'll report to NWS for my first report.
