I've noticed over the year that 33.8 is an important number. You really can start caking at that temp. You should get a couple inches of paste tonight.

MQE at 32.5. Gonna be a ~3-5 inch snowbomb up on the hill. What a freakin tease.. Down to 34.9 here and I can't imagine getting more than a coating here.

Wow, SN+ now with radar showing better bands moving north. 1" down.

a chipshot south of you in amherst, we have surpassed 2". flurries started around 7:30, measurable began around 8pm.

snow going 1"/hr since start. roads covered with packable/wet. right around 32 right now. we'll see, temps seem hovering around 32, a few degrees lower once you get out of town and/or up in elevation a bit. amherst is unique in that you have a small city (umass) which backs up against a small but steep hill and downtown/amherst college with some associated topography.

i've noticed a signficant difference in snowfall during marginal events between UMass campus and going up/over the hill away from the "urban" heat of campus (up to a couple inches, which seem to melt at or near ground on campus). that said, probably not doing that tonight...

Think you or I break double digits?

Gardner, MA WxBug is at 27.0F/27

Gusting to 30 mph from the east

I think you will...I will prob be close but not make it. Maybe 8-9" here...we'll see though. This is a good setup for us in the midnight-3am timeframe with strong 070 wind...we'll be upsloping well with the max lift in here and getting pasted, literally. So we could rack it up quickly in that time.
