CoastalWx
Don't think it is because it has the 18-24 amounts on it...I don't think the old one had that. Well something is off. The WSW mentions 4-8".

Damage In Tolland
They also have me getting at least 1/4 inch of ice. I'll take it
DomNH
They just upped the SNH warning to 12-18''...that seems a bit ambitious outside of Cheshire county.
OKpowdah
WTF, that looks like yesterday's map. ORH is not getting 10-14". That's even higher than my map, which is bullish down there. I think 8" is reasonable
Dan
I'm a little worried how fast the mix moves in. I'm thinking 4-6 there. I think that range is ok. Even if you get 7-8 it's only an inch or two off. I wish I could see the euro weenie maps at work. I like to know how the warm layer near 800mb looks. Any way of me getting you the image you are looking for?
Sugarloaf1989
And yet the new Box map has me on the line between 4-6 and 6-8 lol Their P/C forecast shows 3-5" of snow for me overnight, an increase from the 2-4 earlier today. It looks like 3-7" for the area just north of I-84.
CoastalWx
Any way of me getting you the image you are looking for? Nah, it's ok. I'm not forecasting anyways....just a casual observer as another storm misses.
SnowMan
They just upped the SNH warning to 12-18''...that seems a bit ambitious outside of Cheshire county. I think we will hit at least 12...possibly 14. We will stay all snow and get the good banding when the CF hits 495.
CoastalWx
That's even higher than my map, which is bullish down there. I think 8" is reasonable Yeah something like that looks good. Probably a 2-3" bust potential either side, but 7-9 seems good. I could see a sharp line with 7-8 vs near a foot in maybe 10-15 miles from ORH north. Gonna be tough to nail that down. CapturedNature
And yet the new Box map has me on the line between 4-6 and 6-8 lol I like my chances being a few miles north of you. Every mile is going to help, I think. I'll take 6-8" though. That would put me close to 20" for the season.

moneypitmike
wwa for 2-5 for me just issued Congrats--is that new from this morning? Neat website to watch snow on the roads, this link is for NYC but you can scroll in any direction on the map to other areas: http://trafficland.c.../NYC/index.html Neat site. I zoomed to see the traffic in my neck of the woods and I came up with this. Stand still. The upped the CT Valley to 8-10!!!! Local mets still saying 1-3! Lock it in!!!! They have me tickling the 14-18. I like that.

CapturedNature
How much did you get yesterday? 1" on the nose. Still have plenty of that left so I'm glad we're starting to build up a complex snow pack. Like you said, a high water equivalent does help with retention.
