Deck Pic
similar to 12/29...disorganized and weak and borderline temps and air mass...this is what we can expect right now
Bob Chill
Strange surface reflection going in around hr 150. IMO- the setup looks like a disorganized overrunner. The surface low that pops over the great lakes kinda screws things up for us. There are hints of a pretty decent plume of precip and moisture pulling off the gulf all the way to our latitude. Should be another nail biter. LOL
WxUSAF
Mostly a New Year's day event. Great Lakes storm sort of keeps the southern stream from doing much. Vort depiction is decent. Obviously a potential for the two s/w's to phase, but they don't on this run and the northern stream dominates.
TUweathermanDD
Definitely potential with this one, really dependent on the gl low and whether it acts to cut off the GoM flow of precip, we shall see. If we can get some Srn stream, then we could have something. I'd take another 1-2" though.

Wonderdog
Stubborn hp keeps the moisture away from mid atlantic but finally begins to retreat on 01/02/13. Looks interesting. It kept the gulf moisture at bay for quite a while.
Deck Pic
it is still in quasi-fantasy range, but we'd actually want the phase a little earlier to be safe

Yorkpa25
Ill take it but 180 hours out is ridiculously to far out there. Won't believe this threat until atleast Saturday if its stil there. Saturdays storm still has to improve for us, which will have implications for this storm down the line.
