extremewx52
Still good 850 moisture transport and mid level lapse rates actually over 7*C/km moving into southern Ohio. We are not even close to being done yet. Bring it on!
blue60007
14.5" just south of Marion Illinois is the biggest total I've yet seen with this storm. There was an 18.3" report in Albion, IL earlier.

B-Rent
Pretty run of the mill. All the field roads are drifting but not impassable. About half mile visibility. Sent from my Galaxy S III on Tapatalk!

AppsRunner
Local met just called for 3.5" for BG/TOL... National Weather Service is going with 6-12" here. Always nice to see them on the same page
hm8
Any word on how far north this thing is getting before the transfer east? Things are going pretty much exactly as modeled/forecasted...so somewhere around the KY/VA/WV border.

BowMeHunter
Pretty much just a mist of snow out there right now, gonna need to get into a healthier chunk of deform before I start seeing any flakes that aren't already ripped to pixie dust. sounds like the snow is right on schedule and will pick up later this afternoon. Indystorm
18.3" at Albion..... of course 30 miles SE of me, here.... probably 6" As always, what a difference relatively few miles can make for the heaviest band in a snowstorm.

Hoosier
Yeah, probably... didn't really want to waste a vacation day sitting around at home when I can sit around at work Yeah, I'm seeing some decent drifts setting up around campus. My 2-3" guess is just that and a wild eyeball guess at that. Road conditions seem to be improving around town. According to Chad there are 2-3 foot drifts in Clinton county. Chicago WX
One of Hoosier's peeps on the WLFI blog. Winds calm, lolz. Kevin says: December 26, 2012 at 12:53 pm Light snow in downtown laf. Winds calm with occasional gusts.

Powerball
Looks like the RAP/HRRR aren't buying that TROWAL/LE bonus snow possibility. You must be looking at a different version of the RAP. The LATEST run on Twisterdata is the wettest yet. It shows 1"+ QPF for the city of Detroit through 05z, and it's still snowing.
Chicago WX
Just kidding Hoosier. Still a snowing here, though intensity has backed off to be sure. Flake size still decent enough.
snowstormcanuck
EURO looks like it just misses us with the axis of heaviest snow associated with the trowal. Goes from the Niagara Peninsula to over Lk Ontario. Would need a miniscule 15 mile jump to get into its northern fringes. Small enough to keep me hanging on. on_wx
So very little and conflicting information for southern Ontario. About had enough of this storm -- day 3 of checking for updates and absolutely zero changes/new info. Even the local weather crew on twitter is oddly silent. EC still keeping all of us at 2-4" with 10" in Niagara Region. TWN tweeted "double digit snow totals" along the 401 corridor, that could mean 11cm...or 50cm. How vague.
