SeminoleSullivan
I have a "winter home" in northern Ontario, and I tell you - it's not been great up there either. I'm looking forward to mid February (or just a tick before) My long-range spidey sense tells me good things can happen.

midatlanticweather
I have been tracking animal behavior and it is a better predictor than the models this year! I'm putting together the AABFM model as soon as my data is collected. The American Animal Behavior Forecast Model. :loon: :loon:

EastCoast NPZ
59F and mostly sunny here. If that sun stays out we're heading for mid 60s. No chance at records today as the max at IAD is 75F (1975), but tomorrow's record is 70F so there's a chance to get that one. The record high min of 43F (2002) is a lock for today, however. Lo temp at OKV so far today was 50F at midnight. No way it's dropping to 43F, especially by 11:59. I just checked the history at IAD; it made it down to 39F at 4:52 this morning - no record for IAD then. At the same time it was 52F out here. If records were kept at OKV then we probably shatter that record.
