December 24/25 Light Snow Nowcast/Observations

Man I-89 getting dumped on it would appear. Most of this isn't reaching the ground outside of that heavier band oriented on the interstate.

Montpelier is down to 1/2sm moderate snow under those 30dbz echos. I'm hearing a bunch of 1-2" accums so far from other employees that live a bit south of here in that area.

If that band sits there for a bit, that may be where Blizz's spot 4" amounts fall.

33 and rain

My report overnight was all the snow i got.

Bummer, just looking at the mesoanalysis - it looks like there's a bit of warm from 925 mb down causing the change over with the light precip.

I'm in north NJ for the holidays. After the initial burst of about 1" of light to mod sn we switched to very light rain/pingers at around 10 or 11pm which held for the rest of the night. Whole scene is frosted out there with blue skies clearing overhead.

Merry Christmas all.

Wow, good call by Scooter.

LOL

Radar's clear out here but a nice steady mood snow falling at the moment. Pretty morning, thankful for a rare Christmas snow. (and plenty of other things)

Merry Christmas!

:santa:

Yup--looks like Scooter's pouring a bunch of baby powder flakes out here in GC . Coming down nicely under a clear radar, but flakes are meh. Closing in on .5"
