ChrisM
The stuff in NY State is looking pretty healthy...we'll have to see how that holds up as it tries to slide E. it looks like it's going to miss most to the N?

ORH_wxman
it looks like it's going to miss most to the N? Yeah it will prob miss CT to the north...might even miss me to th enorth...but it should get someone if it holds together...the southern end of it will try and keep regenerating as there is some half decent forcing going on there. It looks to be moving NNE and mostly missing Northern Connecticut. This first batch of snow is nearly done here.

I moved from Wareham to Acushnet, about a mile north of the Acushnet river golf course. Not much difference in climo I wouldn't think but maybe a few miles further away from the ocean

OKpowdah
notice some of the banded structure in the radar returns over NY. This is what I was talking about before with a fast moving potent vort max like this ... strong easterly storm relative flow I was hoping this stuff would catch just a bit of atlantic inflow...but it doesn't look like we'll have enough of a low for that...even a bit of BL moisture might help...hopefully someone can catch a weenie band from it. I might get stuck in the split with scooter. Though it does look like its about to start snowing here for a short period on the first batch. I was really hoping that would happen too, but looks like most of the inflow gets robbed by the first wave. IF it had happened, that's a situation where this could have potentially overperformed big time. I think you'll still make out fine with the NY stuff building a little south as it moves into SNE
