1/17: 2.0" of heavy wet snow with thunder and lightning

1/24: Trace from a clipper

1/25: 1.25" from a clipper

3/6: 4.25" of heavy wet snow with thunder

Season total: 7.5"

I have basically the same. I think I only got 1.0 on the 25th, other than that, this looks good.

So, days since my last 2"+ snowstorm? 0. Of course, the airport is still working in that streak.

The monthly breakdown so far here:

Dec 9.7”

Jan 2.5”

Feb 2.1”

Mar 4.0”

I found the following winters for this area that had their most snow in December. Interesting how they often happen close together. (For the seasons in bold, the December snowfall exceeded the rest of the months combined, as has this year so far.  If we can swing more than an inch tomorrow night, that stat will be off the table.)

1930-31

1932-33

1950-51

1951-52

1956-57

1958-59

1962-63

1966-67

1969-70

1970-71

1989-90

1990-91

Last year, October was the snowiest month here, but the Oct total was exceeded by the rest of the winter combined by 0.5”

Interesting. Last year here the Oct snow exceeded the rest of the winter, iirc. Here this year the snowiest month has been March at 11.5, all at once of course.
