Tropopause_Fold
what a tough forecast. the blooming ccb could nail coastal areas or they could get 1-2" that's where the smart money is right now i think, unfortunately.
snowman21
Just remember, whatever the NAM shows for precip take about 2/3rds of that for reality.
moneypitmike
Light QPF inland. MPM should be freaking out right now. I never expected more than an inch--so I'm not freaking. Just whimpering. SlantStickers Anonymous
that's my stance Really the most intelligent way to go right now; can't hump a model that's insane half the time just because it looks nice.
ORH_wxman
The SREFs really beefed up as well. Still need to see some more support from other guidance. The SREFs havent exactly been crushing it either lately.
Tropopause_Fold
i think Bob is in a good spot for this - maybe up toward Scooter too if there can be a bit of enhancement from NE flow that far north.

SnowMan
I think the NAM picked up on something thus resulting in a movement more NW. I believe the GFS and Euro will see that even better and come more NW. I am in agreement with Max - definitely have a feeling this will be great for all. codfishsnowman
all maps forecast more snow to the west south and east of me lol...my god this area is horrific for snow. and i think we used up our miracle points with 1/12 and 1/27 of the 10-11 season where we did very well in both events also the october disaster where there was no downsloping etc.
weathafella
NAM is rays nightmare. 6+ for NYC-PYM and southward until the bl cooks in far eastern areas. Still a nice 4ish for me and the trend is going in the right direction. I feel a deformation band coming to my fanny.
powderfreak
Light QPF inland. MPM should be freaking out right now. Nice. NAM looks to continue a little 0.25"< area up here in Vermont. I could definitely go for a little 2-4/3-5" type deal of high ratio snow to top off the snowpack right now. Liking the area of forcing moving across NNE well removed from the surface low. Mr. Windcredible!
3-5" calls looking good for all of CT...somewhere may jackpot to 6-7", but I'd like to see other 12z guidance bump up QPF before locking it. SE portion of the state obviously would have the best shot QPF wise...but warmer BL will likely keep ratios down a bit...so jackpot likely inland a bit from there. Probably IJD.
