I don't care what "guidance" has at this point. It's just that ....guidance. Maybe I'm wrong..Maybe I'm not. For folks to be ruling out a nice hit from this today seems a bit silly..but to each their own

Agreed. Not a knock, but it seems Bob has been downplaying things a lot lately...

You're looking at a year and half to diagnosis this? the whole northeast has been basically screwed for this period. As much as this storm was nice, I'm still more than a foot below normal on the year..and I was 5 ft below normal last year.

I'm just saying in New England whch doesn't incude buffalo,ny BOS has been the center of the screw zone. Even the little events that gave surrounding areas something screwed BOS.

If you're expecting anything more than a little -sn out this system, you're going to be severely disappointed. You're expectations should be even less than Kevin's in CT.

I'm not a weenie like you and Kevin. I'm a realist.

25th through the 1st on a 8-11 day analog, so far -1 and two snow events for me.

Highly unlikely anyone will be other than above normal for this period. It will just feel below Ike yesterday on the normal days. Most guidance keeps it this way till just after 1/1.

How the took are you -1 12/25-26? Is your climo dc?

There's science. And then there's Kevin. Euro face value is 2-4" for PVD-BOS corridor, inch or two more SE MA, almost nothing to the NW. And that's still optimistic based on mean model guidance.

Have to agree, but not to the extent that people will be severely disappointed. From a realist POV, 2-4" for CT and maybe more south and east of GON-PVD-TAN.

There was ONE run of extreme snows. Bad idea to latch on to one run.
