SlantStickers Anonymous
Sweet moses I'm liking this systems potential more and each day, possibility to be what us coastal dwellers have been dreaming of is certainly there... We'll see!
8611Blizz
Max ridging over the Dakotas is pretty vintage for Cape/E MA snowstorms...this was the ridge pattern in Jan 2005...and also Dec 1981 and Dec 1976. Very good month here!
NorEastermass128
does it give any love to southern NH? Yes. Several inches
ORH_wxman
Now of course I want something big while 6 hours ago I'd have been satisfied with 2-4. LOL. Euro d3-4 calling for a blizzard isn't bad. And the other globals moving in its direction particularly the ensembles. I'm feeling good about this one bringing a nice dump that stays around for awhile. Been seemingly eons since that happened...lol. Well 2 years anyway. I'm not willing to commit to a major snowstorm yet...but I will commit to a solid measurable snowfall...even the ugly solutions have had a few inches. I think BOS is looking pretty in this one. weathafella
If I'm adding correctly that's about 1.25 qpf for BOS.
SouthCoastMA
2" qpf for CC

Absolutely awful. This year looks promising up that way.

I'm feeling good about this one bringing a nice dump that stays around for awhile. Been seemingly eons since that happened...lol. Well 2 years anyway. Its been a brutal 2 years, I was actually excited when I saw a layer of slush in the western part of town tonight, even half of this last run would make my head explode lol. I really like that it's been consistent (at least in it's projected existence) on the models since it was first hinted at.
ORH_wxman
If I'm adding correctly that's about 1.25 qpf for BOS. I got a bit closer to 1.5" on the WSI maps...and the ratios would prob be premo. Thats where I got 18" from...but regardless, a huge hit on the Euro inside of 84 hours. That's a nice run. Ensembles have been decent the whole time...a little right of where ideal, but that is usually a good place for ensembles to be 3-4 days out which has been the underlying weasel signal despite the OP runs flip flopping majorly. dryslot
Yeah couldn't hit up the Norway area last year. Absolutely awful. This year looks promising up that way. weathafella
Well a big storm in the 3 northern states and interior SNE today/tomorrow and another more classic snow for all of NE particularly eastern areas late Saturday/Sunday. Nice snow cover with some serious cold moving in. Could be some interesting temps.
weatherMA
Matt Noyes FTW? He really is great. Downplayed this one for SNE which looks like a good call...and said this weekend looked like a classic set-up.

I think you can finally be optimistic about this one...just dont get your heart set on the Euro verbatim as beautiful as it is.....but a solid measurable looks pretty likely. ctsnowstorm628
Ukie would be a decent hit on the next frame We are near 72hrs. Most storms present themselves in detail around this timeframe. This may be somewhat realistic if that s/w is stronger coming around that trough. We need that as opposed to the shear vort previously shown. I wanna see the ensembles.
