Clinch Leatherwood
Euro is gonna be good I think based on 66h...getting to the 3 day mark. I think this might be the system that finally gets Jerry and Scott off blue balls. It's pretty epic. Here's how it's going to play out so you can all plan: I'll weenie out and delay my trip north. At which point it'll go out to sea at the last minute or intensify cutting west towards the island and ill rain. Or two ill to skiing and we will get a mod/major snow in se ne
weathafella
Euro looks tasty through 78. Warning snows over much of EMA and a Cape blizzard...possibly extending up to the Boston area.
ORH_wxman
Euro is the cure for the E MA screw zone in the past 14 months. Ray to Scott to Phil....just to make Ray happy, ORH gets in on the fun on the western side of the qpf gradient.
ORH_wxman
Euro literally gives BOS about 18" of snow.

I think you're in the better spot. We will see. If this one screws us both we should take up another hobby. Maybe competitive chess.

weathafella
Bit the bullet and got up. Eastern CT to cape gets CRUSHED!! Most of SNE is crushed and certainly the Boston-PVD corridor.
Amped
A few SREFs and GEFS members did this. They are good for hints sometimes.

ORH_wxman
It's like after 40 years in the desert...lol. 19th anniversary. Lets hope it delievers. I think your blue balls are cured in this one...I wouldn't expect 18"...but I think at least a solid snow event should happen. Whether its 4" or 14" remains to be seen, but I like the signal a lot right now for E MA. The longwave pattern is very classic for E MA snowstorms. USCAPEWEATHERAF
I knew the EURO would come in amplified. It shows basically no confluent zone in the way, so Atlantic ridging can take place.
ORH_wxman
Max ridging over the Dakotas is pretty vintage for Cape/E MA snowstorms...this was the ridge pattern in Jan 2005...and also Dec 1981 and Dec 1976.
Clinch Leatherwood
Competitive drinking? We will see. I won't get excited until after the 12z. Now of course I want something big while 6 hours ago I'd have been satisfied with 2-4. LOL. Euro d3-4 calling for a blizzard isn't bad. And the other globals moving in its direction particularly the ensembles. I'm feeling good about this one bringing a nice dump that stays around for awhile. Been seemingly eons since that happened...lol. Well 2 years anyway.
