ChescoWx Posted December 23, 2012 Share Posted December 23, 2012 With the possibility of a White Christmas for some of the area this year let's revisit past top snowy Christmas snow depths and the last 5 White Christmases here in NW Chester County PA - that 1966 storm featured 2 storms that week with over 30" falling including the 21.2" that fell on Christmas Eve (that storm included lightning) I was but 3 yrs old but it is one of my earliest memories watching Santa run by in the snow and lightning and falling down in front of my house in NE Philly Top 5 (snow on the ground Christmas morning) 1966 - 25.0" 1909 - 13.0" 1912 - 10.0" 1963 - 7.0" 2009 - 4.0" 1961 - 4.0" Last 5 1995 1998 2000 2002 2009 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Is the loud argument between one of our neighbors, whose car was stuck in a foot of snow in the middle of the street, and the snowplow operator at 10PM on Xmas eve.
