KeenerWx
Heaviest snow of the winter occurring right now. Even though its not much, I'm still praying I65 isn't a hell hole.

Isn't sticking here at all. Just warm enough, and just not "heavy enough". Though, looks like the better rates may be north right now.
Geos
FWIW, the HRRR is loving southern LOT CWA. I think this model is smoking something! lol No way ORD gets close to the snow accumulation today, let alone almost 2"! Snowing in Kankakee though. Might make it up to I-80. blue60007
just came out from lunch to a pretty good burst of snow. must not be heavy enough/cold enough as much of it is melting on cars/roads.

Chicago WX
LAF is down to 31 on the new ob. What do you have? 33.5º. Just kind of spitting flakes now. Eh, this won't amount to much at all here. Really lacking any good intensity, and just started too warm. Oh well, nice window dressing nonetheless. I think we can still get into the 1-2" range by the time it's done.
Chicago WX
Snow extends pretty far upstream on radar. I think we can still get into the 1-2" range by the time it's done. It does, but it loses its intensity as it moves east through here. Kinda what the models have been showing. I'd be surprised if we can pull out an inch right now. Up to 34º on my thermometer. Melting snow faster than it's falling at my place.

It starts out slow, you're ready to cancel, and then we make a run and it pretty much pans out as expected. These marginal temp situations are difficult. Not that the sun is a big factor at this time of year but maybe losing daylight will help just enough.

We used up quite a bit of snow that melted on contact. I'm just calling it like I see it.
B-Rent
I'm in Fishers right now. Coming down at a new clip.... But... Meh. Real fine flakes, not sticking to anything raised. Sent from my Galaxy S III on Tapatalk!

Geos
This system is done for the vast majority of the subforum. Edit: Looks like a bunch of 1-2" snowfall tallies in the ILX cwa. http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=ILX&issuedby=ILX&product=LSR&format=CI&version=1&glossary=
