THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

SOUTHWESTERN AND WEST-CENTRAL ALABAMA

EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA

CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI

COASTAL WATERS

EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 1255 PM UNTIL

800 PM CST.

Unlike the EF-1 tornado that hit parts of Mobile Thursday, there have been reports of injuries with this one, she said.

Trees are down, power is out in some places, and "some houses are down, too," she said.

Damage has been reported along Williams Street and Senator Street.

"It's widespread," she said, before having to get off the phone to answer emergency calls.

You know, I think the Mobile tornado had the horizontal vorticies (I saw at least 1) like what the Tuscaloosa tornado had.

You can see it on the right side of the tornado at :08 of the video.

Man, that thing is moving at a good clip too. Impressive.
