...SNOW MAY CAUSE SOME TRAVEL PROBLEMS OVER NORTHWEST MIDDLE TN

WEDNESDAY MORNING...

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE

TONIGHT SPREADING RAIN ACROSS THE AREA. AS THE LOW PASSES COLDER

AIR WILL WORK IN CHANGING THE RAIN TO SNOW OVER MUCH OF THE AREA

WEDNESDAY MORNING. AREAS OF NORTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE HAVE THE

GREATEST CHANCE FOR SNOW ACCUMULATION WITH 1 TO LOCALLY 2 INCHES

POSSIBLE.

crazy time of year for this. i'm right near fayetteville, north carolina right in the firing line tomorrow. will be going on some chases tomorrow! hopefully i'll have some pics. hopefully we can get a nice wedge out in a big field or something. praying no cities are decimated like 4/27 or 5/22...

The latest RDU discussion sounds like the wedge front could get pinned by overnight and morning rains closer to the coast than earlier thought. Issued 13 minutes ago:

MAIN THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER MAY ARRIVE A FEW HOURS EARLIER

WEDNESDAY. THERE ARE ALSO SIGNS THAT THE HIGHEST RISK OF SEVERE

WEATHER MAY BE MORE TO THE SOUTH AND EAST THAN EARLIER EXPECTED.
