michsnowfreak
Snowing nicely out but was looking at traffic cams and holy crap did it get white fast in the NW burbs. Naturally headed NE into Oakland county....even when its forecast DTW-south, Oakland county wins

hm8
Heaviest snow of the season...not that that's saying much. Still, a few tenths have quickly accumulated and I'm only just getting into the heaviest radar returns. Schweet.

michsnowfreak
Definitely NOT as good as the northern burbs, but I cant complain. We have at least a half inch (probably more, havent measured yet) and still snowing. Its the perfect Christmas treat knowing a much bigger snow is likely the day after Christmas. michsnowfreak
I retract my earlier complaint! It has yet to stop snowing! After the big fluffy flakes to start, its been snowing in powdery sheets all night. Radar looks like its done, but its still snowing at like 1 mile visib. 0.8" of sugary powder here as of 15 minutes ago (as opposed to the fluff the northern burbs got).
