Looking at the pressure falls and the current pressures makes you wonder if we don't stay a bit more frozen than earlier thought.

I was just looking at the Unysis site and wondered that as well

but I think we've already over performed by most expectations

p.s. pingers have started here, but still >50% snow

Definitely, even over to the bay where I am, because overall the isobars are bending thanks to the influence of the high pressure. Easy to see our CAD.

and my ob, 31.5, snow, heavy at times, a wind out of the NE 10 to 15 gusts occasionally to 20, 1 inch. Roads are covered. (no plows)

In that band is mainly sleet and snow, but we should maintain snow a bit til noonish. Accumulations will continue with the sleet we'll get. A lot of bright banding, plain rain not looking imminent.

I would say that the Chill storm has verified and see no reason why Bob shouldn't continue to name future storms:)

Not a chance. One and done.

Walked the dog for 45 mins. It was so cool. Started with big flakes. All kinds of switching between flakes and sleet. You hear the sleet coming in the distance during the flakes. By the end of the walk it was just mangled blobs and lotsa sleet. All sleet now. Roads are pretty bad. Everybody was driving slow and safe but even the main neighborhood road was covered.

Better than expectations so a tiny win in my book.

is your PWS accurate? 28 is way colder than any models had. i hear the ping once a while and it stops my heart:(

It is in line with the WS over at the school, so I would say yeah it is accurate.

Got the pic of your house as it was mixing and changing to sleet.

Ill take sleet for a while then ZR before the rain comes in.
