I can confirm the mix of sleet in with the moderate to heavy snow here now. I didn't want to believe it (lol) but it's hitting my windows on the north side of my house. Hopefully it goes back to all snow and is just a little wave moving through (wishful thinking?).

Still 26.8F. Pressure down to 29.85" and falling rapidly at 0.074"/hr. Windy.

Just measured 2.3" total accumulation.

Looks like the dry slot is around Pittsburgh and heading in the direction of WNY. Any chance that fills in?

That dry slot should begin to fall apart/fill in as the low begins to transfer towards the delmarva pennisula.

WOW almost double what they had for here this morning :snowing:

Up to 2.0" in State College. Light snow now. Took us about 80 minutes to pick up that last inch. Bit of a snowhole moving our way on radar... not too worried but hoping it fills in :D

Agreed, although I wouldn't rule out JST/AOO/UNV and that region of southern PA maybe having a bit of a break as things rearrange and the backside of the storm starts pushing thru western/central PA. I'd imagine that in between period is when we will have to watch to see how much mixing ends up working into the central areas. Whoever stays above that pivot point is going to be the snow champions of this event.

Kinda annoying but part of the game, no doubt.
