N. OF PIKE
Nobody is ruining it. Trying to be realistic is meteorology. Ripping QPF amounts and 850 temps don't cut it. scott you have never ruined anything lol. anything that threatens to pierce blizz's "im in winter mode and it will snow" bubble reality = "this is unreadable "you've losted it" "this is dissapointing" . it's happened 100 times in the last 4 weeks. can you get up to NH w the fam? Damage In Tolland
Looks like one of those 3-4" thumps to RA+++ for you as the secondary gets going over our fannies. VT/NH/ME get a solid 8-12". I should just forget meteorology and bank on them getting crushed when I'm away... its still likely too warm and west as these always adjust east last 36 hours as Will always says.. My thinking for me is snow to ice to dryslot as secondary moves near or over Cape which is climo btw.I think ORH north is all snow
Clinch Leatherwood
Yeah it's a nice hit but I'm planning on 1-3. And if more then that's great. I just don't understand why some folks that don't get snow have to try and bring others down It's a weather forum, not a snow orgy fantasy forum. A day ago you were predicting 4-8" on Xmas, that dropped to 3-6" until you became unhinged, vanished for hours in an orgy of texts to scooter while he was trying to change diapers and breast feed and came back with 1-3" for Xmas today wondering why people don't see the world your way. . I asked you point blank if you were going to pre-toss the Euro, well? Are you tossing it in favor of the JMA or whatever else is colder?
weathafella
I thinking we have 15 days to salvage ths winter before declaring back to back ratters. Not so unusual. Our biggest issue is the lack of the coldest air on our side of the pole despite guidance saying otherwise repeatedly.
ctsnowstorm628
A thump of snow to a pingfest for me. Still a solid net gain for you...probably near warning criteria. LSC gets probably close to 12-18" verbatim, realistically probably 8-12" with shadowing. Classic NNE setup here.
dendrite
?? How far up does the taint go? MHT? CON? further north. Are we okay dendrite?? I think you would flirt with the pingers.

He hasn't been right once this entire month. That's cool, everyone has bad streaks. But we've been hearing about inches and hours and days of snow. I had heavy partly cloudy yesterday up towards Wrentham. I may have seen one flake...or it could have been a winter moth not sure. Days and days of moths. The Euro track is inland and then it becomes an inland hugger that runs up over us. It's a torch aside of CNE and NNE which is what many were saying all along. We still have no cold, we're in the groundhog pattern from hell.

I think you up to Will is good for advisory criteria at this juncture, maybe more for Will if this trends. Remember, there a ton going on aloft with these things, so even with a secondary popping over BI, you probably ping. So, in my perspective I'm kind of looking at this really unbiased because Westbrook will rain no matter what, and I do think your location has a shot at some decent snow, before it gets washed away. Lets see how the ENS look, because even the GEFS was right over our heads with the secondary.

Our biggest issue is the lack of the coldest air on our side of the pole despite guidance saying otherwise repeatedly. If we had real cold air at the very least these would be good front end thumps for a lot of you. Best we can manage is low level cold air, and we can't even pull that off when the lows are far west. The storms either wrap up and end up too far west or don't wrap up and end up flat like the post frontal wave that missed a week ago, and this Xmas stinker. We're kind of the middle of the alley right now with systems going left and right of us. Really frustrating stuff, but it does spare CNE/NNE which is pretty huge after last year. Cold enough for snowmaking, cold enough to make net positive gains after each events from Loon north.

OceanStWx
I think you would flirt with the pingers. Part of the reason why Phil left Speaking for Phil now too? It was nice for a couple of days when you pulled your Favre. Then you came back like we all knew you would. Your enthusiasm for weather is commendable, but you've forecast more snow than the DGEX this winter with about as much to show for it. Then you bait everyone (how many times are you going to ask if dendrite got your PMs) and take everything as a personal insult when nobody really gives 2 mounds of doo doo about your area. It creates regional conflicts and local conflicts that don't exist. I hope you get 300" of snow this year. I don't care if I get 0". That's normal. It's the weather. But I cannot look at the GFS and Euro today and see days and days of snow like you do. If that makes me a bad guy I'm really sorry.
