Clinch Leatherwood
For all snow. But don't be surprised if the net is a decent gain. I'll be skiing...long as the inlaws are gone and the house is still standing when I get back I don't care what happens on the cape
WeatherX
I raise my glass of Cabernet tonight and I say to you....Happy Holidays...and bring it! Cheers to you, sir. I think the young kids might relish this period of opportunity if it pans out as currently progged. It's just gravy to older guys like you and me...... I don't like the high placement or the setup at all, but who knows. Hopefully you guys all cash in.

ORH_wxman
GFS ensemble mean is pretty amped up for the 12/27 storm...nearly a coastal hugger. Def west of 18z ensembles. Takes the low near ACK.

N. OF PIKE
Net a good snow for Boston and a great one for ORH/BDL/NNE. i just hope bos doesn't warm sector and send it down the drain
weathafella
i just hope bos doesn't warm sector and send it down the drain On the gfs, why would boston warm sector? It's not going over Albany in this run. It stays east of the coast. If it happens its not signaled in the modeling tonight although euro is out 120. Has transferred to the coast around HAT then but it may be a hugger.
ORH_wxman
We are prob going to taint on this run again....but a pretty hellecious front end thump ongoing at 120-126 hours.

Still time though and the euro trend continues to the coastal.
CoastalWx
We are prob going to taint on this run again....but a pretty hellecious front end thump ongoing at 120-126 hours. It looked maybe a hair south on this run, but it might not mean much.
weathafella
Verbatim euro is heavy snow to light rain/dryslot. I can deal with that.

CoastalWx
Again, still 5 days out and also dependent on storm 1 in some ways. Just a hair more confluence to the northeast or flow that is a bit more progressive moving ENE and SNE would be in a sweet spot.
weathafella
And it's cooking 12/30. Pattern has come alive!
ORH_wxman
Looks like it tracks it over the Cape this run. The interior would stay all or mostly frozen...with some sleet/ZR taint at the warmest point....but regardless, a big time winter storm on this run. Even BOS gets hit pretty hard on the front end. Still a long ways to go in this though.

SnowGoose69
Still don't like the appearance of a SE wind in the isobars, definitely cold enough for front end snows aloft up the coast but that SE wind looks like a problem.

Pickles, it's. the winds. If they can stay more north, even mid level taint could be tolerated. Those are things impossible to predict this far out.
