an oregon pinot, a rugged sangiovese from some big jug in some little village in Italy, a big fat juicy california cabernet. what is the problem with wine?

I especially like it next to the fire when i'm looking out at a couple feet of snow in the yahd.

beats budweiser piss water every day of the week.

I'm middle aged but don't wear loafers.

I guess I am too but never acquired a taste and the headaches are brutal Budweiser has always sucked. Beer choice would be Bass Ale or a micro Pale ale. Mixed would be Crown, Jack, Jamieson. My wife is a bartender for high end events so she is always having me try something new. She makes a signature rum pumpkin spice with brown sugar cinnamon on the rim of the glass which is pretty good.

The sulfites in the red wine are probably fu**in with you, or maybe its an allergy. I like a beer with a little body and taste to it, like the ones you suggest. I think I have to come to the next GTG and get some good Scottish single malt to share with the other middle aged guys. It's more for the serious slow conversation at the end of the evening after wiz n blizz have puked out their bud and are lying on the floor cuddling.

<weenie fodder>

For those of you who like to dig for a big storm to draw an analog to ...

If you squint your eyes and tilt your head a little, the GFS isn't terribly far from something of the likes of December 2003 or even March 2001 ... focus on that lobe of vorticity over eastern Ontario just itching to subsume into the trough.

</weenie fodder>

talk dirty to me :P
