Bryan
Precip is so light right now that it honestly could pass for snow if you looked at it quickly in the flood lights, really a tease. Even looking at it I'd say it was snow until I realize I'm sitting at about 37.
JJBASHB
Nice aggregates here. Snowing at a good clip, all surfaces beginning to accumulate despite somewhat marginal temps.
#NoPoles
i'm too lazy to lift my head and look out the window...but the precip comes and goes in loud bursts...sleet mixed in with the rain, for sure...
ChrisM
I don't believe elevation is a huge deal in this one, esp. 200' :weenie: You'd be surprised, just went from 1k to 700 and went from snow and white to rain
ORH_wxman
Solid coating now. Might eek out measurable if it keeps up another 30 minutes or so.

Snow Bow
Radar has looked decent here for some time now but nothing reaching ground still. Had a brief snow shower around 10:30 but nothing since. Actually just starting now as I'm about to hit send.

QcSevereWx
light sleet here should change to rain by morning. ottawa looks to get dumped on alas.... EC will bust again. We heard about the snowstorm on the news for a couple of days, people will wake up with less snow on the ground than yesterday.
Logan11
In a void on radar here now, but still a very fine light snow sifting down and 32. The whole thing hasn't amounted to more than a half inch though because there hasn't been much precip. despite radar.
OKpowdah
Snow growth has gotten much worse, but we're easily around an inch on the ground now. Probably going to bed now..
HIPPYVALLEY
Considering a slow start to winter for most this is a good winter event, fun to watch! Going to bed now but I'm confident when the lil' man gets me up in a few hours there will still be snow cover no matter what's falling from the sky! Snow Bow
Picked up .25" in the twenty minutes since it started, not really worth staying up much later, but was nice to see it come down at a good rate for a while.
ORH_wxman
I think this past hour's heavy snow obs at KORH might be the first official one of the year. I think 11/6-7 only had moderate snow obs IIRC. At any rate, pretty nice little front ender. Better than a couple hour sof cold rain I guess. ORH_wxman
Looks like we'll end up with around an inch, maybe a couple tenths more...the lull in precip is coming and by the time the next batch arrives, the column will no longer support snow. Ice Warrior commander
I measured . 0.2" on the sidewalk and 0.5" on the grass as of 1:15AM.
