ChescoWx
Nah - last night was a tough call as most modeling did not show the almost all snow out in NW Chesco etc. -Mt Holly did put out the WWA for the new splits for the freezing drizzle etc. I thought they did a great job Mt. Holly is very stubborn and has started a new trend of putting up WWA's and WSW's when precip. has already started falling. Somerset and Hunterdon counties both saw WWA's last night after the snow had started.

Blizzard-on-GFS
Sorry for the IMBY question, but I haven't been following model guidance for this event.... Does TTN look to see any snow accumulation from this? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
WildWeatherAdventure
I would think watch then warning. Looks as if they are playing the conservative card based on the forecast update. The AFD will be a very interesting read, tough call for them.
dssbss
Just saw a briefings package put out at 3:30...mt. Holly seems to downplay the snow/ice part of this storm...focus more on heavy rains and winds...I'm still hoping for a Christmas snow miracle

Thunder Road
Did someone say Christmas miracle? The 18z RGEM is significantly colder for the city. Drops 0.25" as snow even down there.
Thunder Road
I just want to point out that the 18z NAM BUFKIT is all rain at KPNE. The 18z RGEM shows 0.25" falling as snow. Even though this is higher than previous runs for the RGEM, it's been consistently colder than the NAM. So tomorrow we find out who is right?
