So def not a snow event in Eastern Pa excluding poconos

Maybe some front end snows (less than a few inches) but more of a rain issue currently then a frozen. Perhaps up in Berks we might get some freezing rain if the lower levels stay cold. Tough forecast for our area and points north.

Hoping we stay away from freezing rain =/

The RGEM and UKMET are the only models supporting that idea. I think we change over to rain after about 3-4" of snow and maybe an hour or two of freezing rain and sleet.

Either way that's a nightmare. Snow sleet freezing rain and rain. Roads will be horrific. I gotta work 17 hours tomorrow plowing so I'm trying to get the conditions narrowed down. Because this will be my first storm driving and I'd have some steep grades to take care of, the last thing I need is to slide down it haha

Thanks! I am on the border of 4-8 and 8-12" in E PA. Thanks bud! Merry Christmas!!!

Heh no prob. Take every forecast out there with a grain of salt, as I'm sure you know. Lots of wiggle room with totals still.

your map lines up well with soundings for my area(norther morris) good luck

I spent way too long looking at different forecast soundings around the Mid-Atlantic :P A fine line in many areas.

I'm heading back to cabin tomorrow or tonight. I tend to like the pa roads in snowy conditions as you guys do a great job up in the elevations!!

I think you will be very busy through Sunday.
