TWCCraig
Low 40's here on LI. Hopefully we can get some quick radiational cooling as the sun goes down before the precip arrives, if that will do anything.

Snow_Miser
WWAs popping up in central Maryland where snow was not expected. Thinking this light event will surprise many weather weenies in a good way. On the traffic webcams, it's snowing in Washington DC right now. http://www.chart.state.md.us/video/video.asp?feed=f50009a903690075004d823633235daa

Only would happen if you have clear to mostly clear skies and light winds. However temps should drop some do to evaporational cooling.

Especially since my temp here has gone down from 40 @ 11:30 to 38 now on a virtually non-existant east wind.

isnice
Just following the Mid-Atlantic thread, obs are pretty promising in much of Maryland and northern VA. Once the precip. moves into the Philadelphia area, we'll have a good idea of what to expect up this way.

Christmas eve 1964 was foggy and the snow that was left from the 12/20 storm melted before midnight...temperatures on Christmas day were in the 60's and the following two days...I was in shock...It did get colder after New Years and snowed on four straight weekends...1965 was rainy and 59...The 1960'w had some bad moments also...
