Can we salvage a White Christmas in SNE?

Damage In Tolland

Recommended Posts

I have to make a post b/c Kevin thinks I left the board but while it would be nice to get something more substantial tomorrow night into Tuesday I certainly could see a few locations squeeze out 2-3'' or so but I would think that would be confined more in central/northern New England where the strongest lift looks to occur.

Just about all of SNE away from s coast sees 1-3 Xmas blending all models

The level of lift really doesn't look all that strong, at least over the areas with the highest moisture content and this will be a rather fast moving system but I think I would go with 1-3'' actually for a forecast. Just a tough call b/c I'm not sure if we'll see enough widespread totals of 2-3''.

I think 1" may do it for you as of now.

The strongest lift works north of CT into MA/southern VT/NH so I would think if anybody sees 2-3'' totals they are more likely than we are down here but I could see a few isolated higher totals like that here...especially if you slant the ruler the right way.
