I fully expect this to come in less amped, and the 27th system to come in more amped....I'm in that kind of a funk.

lol, I was going to comment after that its probably wrong because you got snow, I think you are right though, It could very well be suppressed, But the 0z Euro was not bad either on the 25th storm for up here

In a system that has a relatively simple evolution such as this event on X-mas I tend to not like going against the GFS inside 100 hours even when the other models all say differently which right now including last night's 00z Euro they are. The other issue in the back of my mind though is that the GFS/NAM both seem to suck at times on SW flow type events.

Its simpler than that...I don't get significant snow events anymore, so this will be surpressed, and the other amped.

I haven't received a plowable event since 2/1/11

Congrats to all of us and Merry Christmas.

Love ,Joe L

And while it won't be terribly cold across parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, southern New York and southern New England, it may well be cold enough to support snow. Right now I would think most areas that get snow would fall in the 1- to 3-inch range, but some lucky souls near the track of the feature that are all snow may get into the upper end of the 3- to 6-inch range before this feature darts out to see Christmas afternoon.
