Exactly, a dying primary in the Lakes! And it got there because H5 was fairy wrapped up and far NW. That's quite different than what the GFS and GGEM are showing. Which is why it would be very misleading to say the "wave" slides south of SNE.

For the moment is seems I'm the only one in this thread with a clue. But I suspect that's just because people who have a clue are not posting.

You've become "that guy". Can't believe I defended you a week or so back... how the hell can you say that Will was nitpicking when that is precisely what you've been doing again and again over a completely miniscule weather feature?

I think they are worth it if you have the time to await the arrival of the data with baited breath, which I no longer do.

Absolutely..you are just in a funk with the hobby. Once it starts ripping again, you will get back into it. Seems like you are personally doing well which is great to hear

He's upset that I didn't describe how strong the vortmax was in units as it goes NW of us. Weenies at 3am just want a quick overview. The maps are on Alan's site too.

This just makes you look ignorant. I don't understand why you can't just admit your Euro description was inaccurate and misleading. It's not a big deal and I never tried to make it a big deal. But when you get defensive and insulting and insist you had it right, that prevents any kind of discourse.

How is saying it wasn't accurate being a jerk? I'm just posting the right information. People give me ****, but they're wrong. And I back up my posts with clear and accurate info. I'm not the one making things personal.

really?

It wasn't accurate at all. Look at the charts. H3 and H5. The wave goes northwest of us. Moderate QPF through the Ohio Valley into southern NY. If you have a red tag you should act like it.

You presented analyis of the Euro that was misleading. So I presented what I believed was more accurate analysis that painted a clearer picture of what the model was showing. That's not in depth analysis. And it's not like nobody cares whether or not there is snow for Xmas. The Euro is showing snow into C and ENY on the 25th. And the Euro isn't the NOGAPS. I think that's worthy of mentioning.

There's no reason I should get **** for accurately describing a model depiction. Why can't you just say you took a quick glance at the Euro and didn't have time to really digest it... instead of arguing that nobody cares.

Don't be a dick. Have some accountability. Make good posts. And if you're wrong, just say so, instead of trying to pick a personal fight.

no, you aren't making things personal

Feel free to put me on ignore.

He was on his cell phone, thus it was more time intensive to only post regarding weather elements directly impacting sne, which was the weak wave.

Christ...

You make BIrving look like Donny Ballgame.

I get it. He didn't have enough time to fully look at the output. No problem. I apologize for offending him.

I never meant to challenge him, only to present a brief and accurate description of the Euro. I know lots of people check in for updates expecting to get good info.

It's not fair to criticize me without reading the full sequence of posts. Tell me what aspect of my post or posts is unreasonable and we can discuss it. Driveby posts are unfair. I was in full agreement with Will and made that clear. I do think worrying about the coastal BL is nitpicking at this point, considering the relatively favorable airmass... all of which I explained. I think you are adding a negative tone to my posts based on an imagined impression of me. It's unfortunate that tone can be so easily misinterpreted in writing.

You didn't offend me, and I simply did not choose to go that in depth on my phone at 3am or whenever it was. It's good that people want details, I'll remember that going forward.

Bro come back to the Hudson Valley forum!! Your analysis is always appreciated and respected by us. Don't you live here in ENY?

Thanks man. I used to live in southern Dutchess. Always enjoyed your reports from Orange. It's amazing how much cooler it can be out by you than down in the valley. Now I'm up in Rensellear and I lived in Boston for a long time, so I gravitate to the NE subforum.

We gotta wake up the HV forum. I'm sure it will come alive for the next good threat.

Understood. Like I said before, I enjoy reading your posts. And I will continue to do so. I'm not going to dog you with sarcasm and critiques. I would appreciate the same.
