subdude
I just want to make it perfectly clear, I am NOT the Skywarn Spotter from Westminster. That being said, I live do on a high spot in Westminster. We had about a 1/2" of ice on the trees as temp increased to 33.5 and it all fell to the ground overnight. It was like walking on marbles when I stepped outside this morning. Chunks of ice on top of a 1/2" layer on the ground. Lost power for a short stint 10min right after posting here about the lights flickering. lol.
ORH_wxman
We lost power again last night...the ice was so loud as it was just falling all over the place as we warmed to 33-34F. It must have damaged some lines. Pretty good ice event on the whole...definitely the best one since 2008.
