JJBASHB
We have about 1/8-1/4 inch of ice in Fitchburg. Nothing is being spared. 3/8 on the back window of the car.
HIPPYVALLEY
Nice ice event. Hope folks hold power. The sleet seems to have come down pretty good last night cutting down on ice accretion. Looks like .10" - .20" on the trees and cars around here.

moneypitmike
No surprise, streets in Greenfield are currently a nice coating of sleet glazed with ice. Since I work from home (most of the time), these are pretty painless as I don't have to alter my day to account for delays/closings. Causes interuptions at times to 'get a snack' or turn on the tv, but I'm in a better situation than most in that respect. Suspect we'll see at least some of the other regionals close as well. Tropopause_Fold
low probability right now but wonder if some of the eastern areas can snag a quick transition to some frozen precip late tuesday night / wednesday morning. the secondary is trending a bit stronger and there's a good tug of northerly flow and cooling. probably not the right thread. weathafella
I like the fact that there is now fairly widespread snow cover that's been sealed with a kiss so to speak. Slowly moving south. Hopefully it gets to cover all of sne by NYD.

dryslot
from sugarloafs fb page Those mtn totals could be slightly over done but up to 2' may not be out of the question, I would take the 5-9" here, Could also be both storms combined

Mr Torchey
I think there will be a few surprises later tomorrow as the secondary forms, things usually tick colder in these events, great to see ski country hang on to mostly or all snow. I think GC might be in the game for wave 2 towards the end possibly a few eastern areas as well. Great to have a little disturbance in the flow for Christmas, looks chilly which would be nice as well.
Chill
We will see..The models keep trending colder. may end up being a snow/sleet storm for us. That would be nice...anything but rain. 6" on the ground, still snowing @ 24 deg.

Roads are pretty bad. I just drove home on rt 12 and it was slow going. The trees are starting to show some stress. I saw five decent sized pine bows (10 footers) sagging on the wires. 28.4 at home.
