Snowing much harder again...probably near 3/4SM -SN to near moderate. 23.9F

How much do you have?

I'm shocked I'm still at 27.0/26. I knew by 4:00p.m. I lost my bet with Kevin--but I didn't realize just how badly!!

School is delayed two hours. Per their message, they're going to reassess at 7:00--if temps rise above 32, they'll stick to the two hours. If not.........ice day I assume.

Congrats to those who held strongly to the CAD scenario.

Just got up, New batch of FZRA mving in now. Trees have coating of ice. Was driving back from Somerville yesterday and was glad I left when i did, Saw one accident and spin out on Route 2 on my way back and and road was shut down in Lincoln about 20 minutes after I got through.

I'm eager for it to get light to get a sense of how much much accretion did occur--can't see much from the light on the deck. No pinging sounds at this point, so likely am zr now,

27.4/26, winds pretty calm, though the occasional readings coming in are from the N/NE (assuming the vane isn't frozen).

Winter lives!

Just pouring snow out there with this batch. My drive up the road NW of the village marker to the mountain was the best of the season...almost whiteout with half-inch sized aggregates just pouring down. Looks like sleet on radar but its not so far... Just moderate snow with blowing snow at 26F

2.75" at 750ft and 3.25" at 1,500ft. Its got some heft to it... really didn't think we'd see the QPF to get a dense 3" and still coming down.

Congrats--keep that taint at bay!

All we got is taint in SNE. Looks like close to 1.5" of taint.

Back edge of precip entering western Franklin--guess we just go to a drizzle or shut off at that point?

Coveted for the weenies, not so coveted by the formatters. We tried to avoid it, but warnings for 60 hours didn't make much sense either.

Yup--it's a tough situation. Sometimes I wonder if it makes sense to keep the warning up and end it early if the second system ends up not meriting it. You still have the warning criteria hit with the first.

2 hour delay for all the school districts around here.

Yeah--thinking they'll still cancel, but the precip winding down, perhaps not The message from the superintendent said they were going to be monitoring the temps to determine whether to adjust the two hour delay. If so, we know how that's going to play as it's still 27.1/26 here.
