SlantStickers Anonymous
So completely exhausted with reading some posters consistent garbage Things will likely clear up once the OBS timeframe gets here, seeing as the event will actually be happening instead of moody model watching. Sugarloaf1989
Off topic, but there is a really nice meteorite shower ongoing right now with a combination of Geminid and an un-named shower putting on quite a display. I just came in from viewing and saw 12 in just 10 minutes including a cluster of 4 at once. The movement seems to be northeast-southwest with the eastern sky being the place to look right now. 8611Blizz
Just looked up and saw one go over head (literally straight up) and waited another 5 minutes looking that way but my neck hurt. Rare to see them here with all the light contamination going on.

HIPPYVALLEY
Peak at midnight fellow Chris. Yeah, I'd like to go out for another round of meteors but I may be done soon. I've had a couple of Sierra Pale Ales and lil' Ben gets up around 5:30 or 6, thus, so do I. lol.

ChrisM
Lol actually it's awesome here in West Hartford. I went outside for a minute and froze my balls off so I'm going to get in the car, go to Horsebarn Hill and watch. Almost a 360* view of the full sky. you and Paul (the skinny one from the board) should cuddle up with a 40 and watch it together.

This is the most I've ever watched mainly because it's an ideal night and it's not 4am. What I noticed is pulses of perhaps 10 in a minute or so, then a few minute lull, then pulses again. Cool stuff. Saw more pure fireballs earlier including one that twirly birded down which I've never seen in my life.
Clinch Leatherwood
If you were just looking straight up at about 1232 you saw the brightest, coolest meteor I've ever seen. Blue green, huge trail behind it. Awesome.

Clinch Leatherwood
Horror show on the Euro. Flurries, sprinkles not much with storm one, storm two gets the grass growing again and storm three is sure to torment after the 20th on the Euro. We may see more shooting stars falling from the skies than snowflakes. The good news is the system at 200 hours looks like a lock for widespread snow and cold Kidding aside that's our shot either a system that redevelops/jumps to the coast around the 22nd or a few days later.
