Damage In Tolland
It started this past Tuesday when the euro showed that phantom follow up wave. Enjoy a snowless month out there I guess
dendrite
This is the worst pinned thread ever......I think. The dews are not crashing in the NW. Pretty darn steady near 25. Down to 9F here.
ma blizzard
Doubtful...its never going to get that warm....but it could be a 34F rain for a long time. The cold push south today which was one of the keys backed off a little bit in the past 12-24 hours...so not sure if we have enough of a dry dewpoint pool to work with...we'll find out later tonight and tomorrow morning. if you dont mind me asking, what are your thoughts for ORH tmrw through monday morning for wave 1? Defintely looks like a case where imby is 33 and ra- after a short period of freezing rain and ORH rots at 31 for another 6+ hrs. I was thinking 1"-2" of snow and maybe up to 1/8" ice as a reasonable forecast? probably less ice in the "lowlands" for me though

Could be some light glaze for a time provided we have enough of a dewpoint pool to work with. But on the whole it should be mainly a nuisance event. Whatever does fall gets washed away on Tuesday with 35F rain.

HoarfrostHubb
Right but why is that a good thing? Sorry for the noob question. Does it tend to signify falling temps? Well, part of it is if the dews fall, then the temps can drop as well at night and we start off the day with colder temps, both at the surface and into the ML.... ...before ugly warmth sweeps in and gives me 35F rain

I doubt we even get 1" and it's followed by 40F rain on monday anway. There seems to be quite a bit of confusion. I was commenting on the Euro run that gave us days and days of snow..Never called for anything you've described for our area. Please go back and re-read my posts to see what I've forecast And we won't come close to 40 this entire week..Mostly 33-37 for a range..
