15z SREFs got pretty warm. There's a bunch of members that change it over up here but the mean is across CNE in general. Luckily the SREFs are outside their useful range at this point.

The critical thickness/isotherms is for hour 84, and the QPF is hour 87, so the QPF falls after the isotherms get to that location.

Stop wishing rain for KREV

Kind of a no brainer. Control in many regards is lacking. I'm not immune to wanting to post on every nuance of "as the models turns"

Most here can read a map ( I hope)

It's ok if it rains, better if it snows. Year after year, threat after threat. It's insanity. The progs presently have the coastal plain as RAIN. For some a hard pill to swollow. I'd feel better in regards chance(s) for snow "if" I lived 20 miles to the NW. Probably true for anyone south of NH/VT border.

Step back from the computer let the puzzle come to ya.

Watch the models bring back a bomb. One can wish and tis the season for dreams to come true. All together now "There's always tomorrow..."

Fantastic meteor shower with fireballs out there now

And those flags worked out. I don't raise 'em for nothing.

Hopefully this thread goes back to being somewhat sane this evening.

Doubtful.

I do think this may develop a more wintry/snowy appeal with time. Seems to have that look. I'm not expecting a whole lot here but things probably will be better northeast of here especially from ORH to GAY.

i'd think most will see at least some frozen out of it sunday AM (probably not down here - outside of maybe a really brief mix at the onset). maybe a few southern areas snag a C-1 or so before things transition?

Yeah sounds reasonable. Something at least to watch. It could go downhill but I generally like these kind of looks. Let's hope we see a juicy thump with an overperforming cold shot lol.

May be a lot to ask for but we shall see.

Yea that would be my expectation anyways. you know the drill well. Iso lift looks nice NE of me by about 45 miles, could be a surprise good snow before the lift moves out though.

luckily we are not in the sref's wheelhouse or the sne weenies would be heading for the bridges.

The few frames before the one he posted were better for ORH hills/Berkshires. About 30% probs for an inch. But yeah, right now they are not that skillful...esp in the snow probs.

This place is insane.

Not worth the time / effort.

It is maybe now it'll get better.

Any chance folks can back off the Blizz beat downs? Direct your venom at me, Mr. 2-threads, instead. I have a headache and am crabby

I can't figure how to get Matt Noyes little map to post here. Bad file type or something

Nobody is beating him down, I think everyone just wants to see the board improve and not go the other way. That starts with not misquoting people.

Good meteor shower right now.
