Inudaw
Elevation is the key in that regard! The thunder woke me up about 30 minutes ago. Temp is steadily dropping. I just don't think it will accumulate down here in South East Henrico if/when it switches to snow.
nflwxman
Storm track may have been more south. 8" here so far.
WhiteoutWX
Guys we look to be in the pivot point right now. All I have to say is LOL at the GFS and NAM. Atleast 2" on the railings. 2 thundeclaps in the last minute heavy snow. WOW.
Kevin Druff
It's insanely beautiful out here in Western Henrico at the moment. Yellows and reds on the radar pivoting overhead. Insane snow rates. 2.5-3" of accumulation. I was incredibly defeated yesterday and last night. What a lift.

JB Fins
I've never seen so much thundersnow in my life every other minute or so I hear thunder. Heavy snow. No doubt, both of our major winter events have had thunder embedded. Hoping it is a good sign for thunderstorm season. Not a bad way to send off winter. Always fun to see the TV mets scramble when they get thrown a curve ball, not their fault, just interpeting models and forecasting a blend. I wonder if DT is claiming victory? Can't they split a Winter Storm Warning within a county? West End of Henrico might be bordering on Warning criteria at this rate.
