Logan11
This thing certainly beefed up in the qpf department since I last looked late Thursday. The NAM and GFS now have me at .5" and .4" respectively now. This is all from the initial disturbance coming out of the Midwest I assume. The people over in NE are excited about the coastal redevelopment, but I think that's a non factor here.
wolfie09
Euro pretty much .4-.5 for ksyr, Kalb, kuca, Kroc , kbuf ,kbgm..

Syrmax
1" down. This 3-6" system sort of snuck up on me. Maybe we also squeeze out a few inches of LE after it this time.

Syrmax
I haven't done the math yet but pretty good chance we match our entire seasonal snowfall from last year ( ~48") by end of this weekend - SYR area. And most of this will have been synoptic w/ normal Dec temps (2nd half of month).
lakeeffectkid383
About 1 1/2″ so far in OP. coming down lighter now but radar shows were in a lull and it should be picking back up soon. The NE Regional radar shows we still have alot to get through. Thinking about 4″ should be the total by tonight. Not a bad little event.
Syrmax
Ok so I did the math. I recorded a total of 45.2" for the entire Winter 11/12. Thus far, thru this morning's measurement at 0730, I have totaled 38.0" for winter 12/13, w/ 34.4" since 12/21. Not too bad for this vicinity. Lgt/Mod SN continues. Of note, as we all recall, most of last winter's snow fell in the first two weeks of January, which was basically our entire winter. Lets hope that scenario doesn't repeat. Syrmax
Judging from radar, BGM area appears to be jackpotting. Evens out accumulation for the CNY/WNY area this week as BGM was more affected by dryslot in the 12/26 storm. Edit: for the SU fans out there, the Pinstripe Bowl vs. the Hillbillies could be a snowy game if NYC can stay cold enough this afternoon. Kickoff is around 3:15 or so. lakeeffectkid383
About 2-2 1/2" here and snowing lightly. Thinking were just about done here as most of the good snow is N and E of me now. Maybe I could pick up an inch or so later with some lake effect.

Buffalo Bumble
Pretty cool to see how the N. American snow pack has expanded over the last couple weeks. Noticeable increase in depths over southern Ontario and Quebec, upper midwest, and finally our snow in the northeast during the last 5 days.
