those narrow yellow bands on the radar near the lake ontario shoreline are probably a bit of lake enhancement.

Buffalo northward is getting pounded and I agree looks like some lake enhancement kicking in. That dry slot is about 50-60 miles from me currently, going to be cutting it quite close! Going to need to start pivoting quickly to avoid it to maximize totals at this location.

Man, this is almost getting ridiculous. Was outside one more time, and the snowfall rate had increased yet again! This is easily 2-3" / h stuff, and it's still coming down right now. Almost zero visibility (without wind). Haven't seen anything like this in a synoptic storm yet. This is shaping up to be one of my all-time favorites. Probably added around 4" just in the past 2 hours. Should be getting close to the foot mark. What a night!!!

this is def one of most favorite synoptic storms. About a foot out there and still ripping 2"/hr with whiteout conditions. This one will go right behind March 2008 on the best synoptic storms in my book.
