DeltaT13
Looks like the dry slot is around Pittsburgh and heading in the direction of WNY. Any chance that fills in? That dry slot should begin to fall apart/fill in as the low begins to transfer towards the delmarva pennisula.
Logan11
21 out here... Looks like the NAM MOS is running about 5 degrees too warm for ALB. It had 29 for 18z and the current temperature is only 24. The GFS was even farther off with 33.
lakeeffectkid383
Yep should be 29-31 here right now and its 23.
Logan11
It's got to be Southern.... Is Liberty NY considered ther Northern or Southern Catskills? Here's hoping we stay all snow here without mixing and get a solid foot out of it over a long duration 15 hour event.
BuffaloWeather
Its a problem with the display. Its really displaying the amounts in cm but is showing it in inches for some reason. So Buffalo has 37 cm which is about 14.5"... Albion's 53 cm is close to 2 feet however. AHH Human ERROR it is! Computers reign supreme!

kulaginman
Light snow started falling around 2:50 here in Orchard Park. I'm still favoring the 5-11PM timeframe for our heaviest snowfall. Temp has been holding steady at 23/24 for the entire day.

WNash
Moderate snow in Parkside, North Buffalo. At 4:00 we did not have any snow, now there is close to .75 inch.
OSUmetstud
The real good stuff is still to our south near Wellsville/Alfred. Some of this will more north over the next couple hours and the isentropic lift maximizes over the region this evening and early overnight. OSUmetstud
SREF mean would imply best snow with this storm over the Finger Lakes...like DSV and the highest elevations of Allegheny, Steuben, and Livingston Counties. 12z Euro looks like it's max was somewhere near BUF. Just went for a drive around the area, was pretty awesome. ( I actually enjoy driving in the snow) Road conditions are pretty bad, lots of slush. Few inches already on the ground. Quite a bit of blowing snow as well.
