cyclone77 Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 My all-time favorite clipper type system, and also one of my favorite winter events. We got absolutely pegged by this system. Ended up with 10.5", but due to settling that may have been a bit on the low side. It was a tough one to pin down due to the extreme gradient on the southwest side of the NW/SE oriented precip swath forecast by the models. IIRC the main band of accumulations ended up a little further southwest than what was modeled. Here's the thread we had for the event (which was still in the central/western sub back then) I made a high-res animation here...
