ORH_wxman
The anafrontal wave gives some snow to SNE at 114-120 hours in the interior.

Well this one is still a cutter...its just trending a bit colder on the front end. The low goes over Ottawa. But its pretty weak compared to earlier progs a few days ago. Won't be surprised if the interior is locked into an ugly 37F rain instead of the 55F that might have been otherwise.
N. OF PIKE
Thankful for euro updates (on mobile). Will does the plumetting ao (sultan's fetish) have much influences Keeping the midwest lp weaker and squashing low/triple point (potentially) just s of us (often further s then the mid range has it forecast) or is that effect more -nao related in general

Hey I look at it this way...we're heading towards a pretty normal winter all things considered. 37 and rain is about where we should be climo wise. I'll be happy with a cold January to march although like the winter warlock from Tolland December snow is my favorite.

I think it is almost everyone's favorite...esp if it happens right near the holidays. I think we'll get our shot before Christmas. Maybe it doesn't work out...but I think we'll give it a legit run...and if we go down, we will go down swinging this year instead of feebly looking at strike 3 like last year. It's cold out there tonight. Snow would be nice between now and the holiday. I suspect the pattern snaps without much warning.

CooL
Pretty nice run in the long range too. Lots of ridging up north after PV breaks apart. Pretty nice -nao.. The only thing that could hurt us is the -PNA but im not too worried about it.

OF PIKE
Did this buy another 24 hours until you gun the Corsica down the railroad tracks? dude lol, I'm not satisfied by sne climo, I need to move somewhere more consistently wintery, but I am optomistic for the 16th to 31 period in sne to see a solid snow event or two. ORH_wxman
Not too shabby for you guys: Would like to see the ridge a little more stout in AK...but that is a snap shot and not the mean. It is a generally good December pattern for New England snow.
