You know one of my favorite things I got him, was a mini snow suit. Mother nature surely can't let me down now! LOL.

In the fall of 2001, I kept telling my wife that "vodka" was coming from reading daily JB (then free and despite that year's bust much better than now). We bought all kinds of cold wx stuff that didn't fit when the cold finally came 14 months later....lol.

I think there are widespread 60s tomorrow. You may be spared but I doubt I will.

Well yeah you coastal folks will roast tomorrow. I'll be 55 at 6:00am..That is nasty..No doubt about it..but what I have been arguing is this torch overall has nderperformed. Above normal..110%..but not something anyone will think back..wow massive torch..like last December..now that was something to remember and not fondly

I think the pont everyone has missed..is again..yes it was above normal..but nowhere near what was being discussed for the past 3 days..with top down convertible wx,,wall to wall sunshine and 60's. One or two towns nuzzled 60 yesterday..Maybe BOS does it tomorrow..This will not be remembered as a warm, massive torch by any means..which again is what was advertised

What exactly is a torch to you in December, you will be near 60 degrees when you wake up, how warm does it need to be? I did not see a single person say it was going to be 60s for days on end, I did see a couple mention that mos was near 60 for a day or two, which verified.

Yesterday and today were a bit warmer than what I had thought (even BOX underdid here yesterday)

I figured upper 40s Monday and maybe 50 today... oops.

Considering that Weds will also have temps in the 50s, it is a pretty big warm dud to start Dec.

We then get a couple of days of a respite, then more AOA.

So be it. Nothing shocking Dec is not a winter month any more

Its been an impressive torch, orh (closest to you) is +3.3 through yesterday, +10 today which will be higher when they update around 1 am, so over +4 through today and this is after the very cold -9 on the 1st of the month.

Its Joe's fault..........lol

Always is. I could care less about extreme cold, but man it would be nice to get some snow around here as we get close to the holidays or anytime for that matter. I can't complain after the snowiest November ever but this is the time of year I want it most, now through Feb, but especially now as we get close to the holidays.

Uh last I checked all of CT was in New England, SCT existed or are you trying to follow the NWS disaster zone breakdowns?

Climowise is why they did it and it makes snese. SW Ct does not have the same climate as the rest of SNE..They have a NYC climate..We've discussed that for yrs.

Noone that lives in SW CT considers themselves a part of New England

lol... yeah... I want the cold, but snow would be better. It will come

Dec '89 was the same...very little snow. We did have the one decent storm on the 16th that gave us a white christmas...but mostly we were freezing in arctic temps while Myrtle Beach SC was getting 14" of snow.

A -13.9 monthly departure would be funny to see on the F6 data though.

That was a good month to have my electric heat bundled into my rent at ULowell...
