Sounds pretty excited about the prospects of a regional system. IMO, the number of pieces of energy can cause the models to react poorly. However, with the NAO/PNA/AO reversing for a time...that reversal in and of itself can signal a big storm. Might be that can be a clue all season if it verifies. The less stuff there is to work with, the easier for the models to figure out what is going on.it's easy to figure out calm and sunny. Not so much with snow around here.
