AirNelson39
Must of had a good bout of sleet this morning in Boone, enough to whiten the ground and make the roads slushy. Temp is also at 32 so elevated surfaces are freezing up a bit

calculus1
Wow! I just got back to the house from the in-laws to check on rain totals at the house. I hit the mother-lode! Since midnight I have picked up 2.34 inches of rain at the house. This is quite the wet pattern after what I have experienced the last two months: the combined October/November rainfall total at my house was 2.54 inches, and I almost passed that total in one day here today. My total rainfall for December now stands at 5.13 inches. I'm loving the pattern change!
dsaur
1.36" last night along with 1.06" on Monday gives me 2.42" for the week. .9 monday and 1.9 overnight. Man, this is how we get fixed from the drought!! And how we'll get a winter storm, from real rain, not some drizzly bits. GFS continues be to good on rain, and good on totals around here T
wncsnow
Nearly 3 inches of rain last night has left my front yard looking more like a pond. My rainfall total for the month is 6.30 inches. WE DONT NEED ANYMORE RAIN HERE!! For a few weeks at least...

GreensboroWx
I can verify the heavy sleet/grapul this morning in Boone. It's still a little slushy on the deck, but just light drizzle right now. I think the colder air is just starting to filter in. There will probably be some snow showers later this afternoon, once the upper levels cool
