nzucker
KNYC average low this month so far -- 39.3 degrees. This has been a non-winter so far. Today is the first day that really feels like winter since sometime in late November when we had the minor snow event.

The lighter snowfall at Central Park this month wound up matching many of the warmer Decembers that we have seen. I agree with you that the Park did better than a T yesterday, but it looks like the last 4+ snow event during a warm December was 12-28-90. Park only got down to 28F, which we've hit 3 times now this month (all in the past 7 days). We've only been below 30 four times and 32 or below 8 times (almost all in the last week). That's got to be some kind of record.

I though that we would at least be able to get down to the mid 20's, but the weather had other plans. Even at my station here in Western Nassau, my low for the month was only 28.4 degrees.
