Ian
yeah Italy is a hotspot. pretty strong looking tho and assume it's kinda late in the season as it would be here. hear ef2 equiv on twitter (from one source with everyone else calling it VIOLENT!!!1!!) Ed Lizard
OT- I'm glad Ian has changed from an orange tag back to an admin... I have no idea what the EF was, but I'm pretty sure I saw multiple vortices in the video.

The horizontal helical vortices I've seen from this tornado in at least one of the videos are features that I can only recall seeing in violent-intensity tornadoes. That doesn't necessarily mean this was a violent tornado or that I've seen all the videos where these vortices have been recorded, but I can't recall seeing them recorded on a tornado that wasn't. andyhb
Watched it again...it reminds me of a certain tornado last year going through a densely populated area like that and also with the multiple vortices rotating off the main funnel... andyhb
Another view of the tornado *Mute Even better view of the multiple/helical vortex action evident on that video.

Yeah I forgot to say you probably want to mute it because the people in the background are pretty loud for obvious reasoning.
