We will have pretty good + departures for a couple of days next week. It's never looked like Dec 2011 walking through that door. The biggest issue was a break in the pattern which is what will be occurring. The Pacific for a time becomes rather crummy. For some, maybe a fropa signals a pattern change, but to me...I'm looking at the hemispheric players that determine when we change to a much better pattern that is conducive for wintry events. That's central Middle Sex county out along Rt 2. We had a surprise 5-10" from a situation where the set up is eerily similar to this one - strong warm boundary south with a weak overrunning scenario implied.
