CoastalWx
The next 7 days potentially will be a snoozer too...well at least into Saturday. I was hoping the wave Wednesday could slow enough for a little anafrontal stuff, but that probably will not happen.

CoastalWx
GEFS bringing a knife to a gun fight? LOL, I'm not a big fan of it trying to forecast tropical convection so hopefully my thoughts are right.
CoastalWx
Certainly going to wreck havoc on the models. It's not super strong, so perhaps not having a huge impact, but it's interesting.

CoastalWx
So basically EC would suggest ridging on the west coast or vice versa? I don't think it would suggest much since its weak, other than that it certainly wouldn't force an unfavorable pattern for us. It doesn't mean that we should expect a blockbuster period..but it's not forcing anything in the crapper imo.
