weathafella
Well happy bday jerry, met u once at gtg, what a wonderful day of weather Thank you! Yes I remember at the tail end of one at Funky Murphy's. Hope to meet again some time at one of the future ones. Cold holding tonight. Cold low levels almost always overperform here. It is frustrating in spring but very nice in winter.
N. OF PIKE
I'm walking thru salem,ma common right now, grass almost fully coverd w snow and snow still on sidewalks, its always good when the cold holds at the coast. Very impressive.
mfastx
BOS still at 32 degrees. Wow. Impressive considering that 24 hours ago the temp was forcasted to be in the mid 40s right now.
jsmith020581
Still 28 degrees in Waltham. No torch yet
moneypitmike
29.8/29 and what must be freezing fog at the Pit. What's the abbreviation for freezing fog? Just realized the large extent of icicles--always a pretty sight. However, the sub-freezing temps are on a failing life-support system for a while. Time for the last rites. Damage In Tolland
That system next weekend keeps trending colder. No way we get a liquid event from that with the NAO going negative and that HP in Canada where it is..Either icy or snowy or both next weekend. Your late arrival on here this morning had me thinking little Nor Lun Nogueira was born last night. I spell your last name differently every time. It's not easy to spell so don't sweat it. I've had everything from Nigeria to Noreaga, to Nogueria which sounds like a friggin disease lol. CoastalWx
Hopefully the euro ensembles are right with the -NAO. That would really help us out because the gradient pretty much is overhead.

I'm just happy with the active looking pattern. Gradient or not it will just be nice to see storms nearby!
CoastalWx
Well I speak the truth Daniel san You Speaka Da Weenie. Hopefully it does, I could see either way right now...even some sort of mix potential too. GFS certainly is flat.

CT Rain
Not sure if we'll be able to cash in here but I do think things look great for ski country in NNE. I envision 2 wintry threats. Could be a SN to RA kinda deal or if we thread the needle a legit snowstorm (though given the fast flow probably more of a SWFE heavy thumping). CT Rain
Euro would be rain 12/9-12/10 and then maybe a clipper with -SN by 12/14?
CoastalWx
Lot of spread on Euro ens? Yeah and they're a little more west of the op. Still had a mix potential though in the distant interior.

I think this whole pattern in general could be good for them. Unless somehow this pattern gets way suppressed, but I don't see how they miss out on snow. I'm all done speculating after melting down in early November and then having a good wintery month transpire, lol. Just let it ride at this point.
